My Bloody Valentine

1MY BLOODY VALENTINE, a group show curated by Aaron Zimmerman and Ken Weaver which includes the works of artists Lily Darling, Rebecca Goyette, Halona Hilbertz, Alexis Karl, Kelsey Legg, Jay Mueller, Michael Paul, Leonard Reibstein, Adam Torkel, Ken Weaver and Aaron Zimmerman. 

The exhibition continues Saturday February 3rd, and Thursday 8th- Saturday 10th.  Gallery hours 3pm- 7pm

MY BLOODY VALENTINE is an exhibition that looks at the darker side of love; equal parts perverse and tender, obsessive and distant. This show is an examination and celebration of gothic and horror-laced takes on the traditional Valentine’s experience.

The artists gathered for this show are all conjurers of the carnal. Some works unveil a raw eroticism, while others read like letters to lovers’ lost... but with a moan or a whisper, they all resonate with sex, desire, comedy, death and life. Think of this as a Marquis de Sade chaperoned Sadie Hawkins dance where you can find both humor and fear in sexuality.

We are also pleased to announce a special performance during tonight's opening opening: tattoo artist Kymmie Sachs AKA The Little Art Monster will be giving free heart tattoos to any and all visitors.
